MACC GIVEN CONSENT TO PROSECUTE FOUR INDIVIDUALS
The Attorney-General's Chambers (AGC) has given consent to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to prosecute the former Prime Minister’s wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor and his former special officer Datuk Rizal Mansor.
Both will be charged jointly on several cases at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court at 2.30pm tomorrow regarding solar power supply and installation projects in schools in Sarawak.
Rosmah was also called to the MACC Headquarters in Putrajaya at 12pm today in order to complete the final process of the investigation and prosecution.
Meanwhile, in a separate case, MACC has also been given consent to prosecute former Federal Territories Minister, Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, related to the sale of the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) land. He was arrested at MACC headquarters in Putrajaya around 3.25pm today.
He is expected to be charged jointly with a businessman, Datuk Tan Eng Boon at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court at 2.30pm tomorrow.
